Founded in July 2017 by Matthew Stephens, Sunshine State Firearms Co (SSFC) started as MJS Guns, growing from two tables at gun shows to a retail storefront. Despite the pandemic, the company persisted and rebranded in December 2020. SSFC, based in West Palm Beach, is a Glock Blue Label dealer, offers an 8-week layaway program, and supports community initiatives. As of December 2023, SSFC expanded to offer its own lower receiver and AR-15 parts. Owned and operated by Matthew Stephens, the team has grown to include two full-time employees.
